Updating the Firmware

The firmware can be updated to gain new features and bug fixes.

To update:

1. Get a Dimlux Interlink cable and insert both ends into the fixture. It doesn’t matter which two ports. This trick enables the internal Wi‑Fi access point
2. Wait for the fixture to reboot
3. On a Windows PC, download the Dimlux Updater
4. Download the latest firmware version
5. Click on the Network button (it may be hidden in the ‘Quick Actions’ menu)
6. Search for a wireless network with a name starting with ‘xtremeled’
7. Connect to it. (This disconnects you from the internet if you already use Wi‑Fi)
8. Start the Dimlux Updater
9.  Select the downloaded firmware file
10. Click start. This may take a while (usually 2 minutes per fixture) depending on the quality of the wireless connection

If you can’t find a wireless network starting with ‘xtremeled,’ or when the connection is slow, bring the PC closer to the fixture.
